Three bars, two beautiful bistro dining areas, room to dance and a private dining room for those who require it; The Village in Potts Point is a diverse entertainment venue. In the space that was formerly the Favella night club, the owners of this striking day and night spot have created a most tasteful Sydney playground. Featuring traditional copper detailing in the bar joinery and bold tiling mosaics, each of the areas within the Village have been designed to be their own distinct havens.
Both floors were reconfigured from the previous nightclub layout to present a new experience to savvy guests including face-lifts to the bathrooms, upper level glazing and the addition of a new bar. The kitchen also received some additional hardware and reconfiguration to allow it to produce more refined and greater volumes of food for the thousands who flock here every week.
We chose to work with The Building Guild on this project due to the personal depth of experience that Alex boast. During the project, The Building Guild played a strong supporting role in the design development as well as achieving both the functional and detailed elements of the new space.
