Warehouse Upgrade And Fit-out

Located in Huntingwood in Western Sydney, the building had previously been home to an industrial / warehouse use tenant but required business critical services upgrades to allow Daimler Fuso to use the building as a truck repairs and maintenance facility. The significant scope of work was to design and construct a high volume mechanical system featuring air quality sensors which detect levels of CO2 , NO2 and other noxious gases and respond by extracting fumes once a threshold is detected in the air. The Building Guild was responsible for designing a reliable mechanical system which is essential for occupational safety. Once the mechanical design was approved, the project required the design and construction of the installation of the system, including penetrations in the tilt up concrete panel structure and subsequent steel reinforcement.

Beyond the complex mechanical scope, The Building Guild was responsible for the delivery of a cost effective 700sqm back of house office including workstations and services. Inclusive of office kitchenette and break out area / lunch room; a new 100 sqm client facing service lounge;  amenities / end-of-trip facilities, building facade improvements and car park enhancements including safety bollard.
